The upside to the spool feeder is that it’s automatic, which saves you a lot of time and trouble when preparing to edge or trim your yard. The downside, however, it’s that it may run out on you if you aren’t careful. Some users have complained about the short-life span of their spool, but we’d like to point out that you can add as much spool as you life to ensure your edging or trimming isn’t interrupted.
